Viking artefacts and monuments on CD-R
The Viking Gallery is a project dealing with the publishing of Viking Age artefacts and monuments. We have chosen to do that in the form of a series of CD-R.

So far, five CD-R are published, one about beads, one about combs and comb making, one about knives, one about Viking Jewellery and lates one about a Viking Sivler hoard. In our work of mediating the history of the Vikings, we are planning further issues of CD-R's. Our next volume, ready in April 2008, concerns Bone and Antler work, with a short compilation about bone and antler handicraft in Scandinavian prehistory in general.

Besides giving high resolution photos of different kinds, there will also be detailed measurement of size, design and construction of the different artefacts.

Further, in the series of CD-R, we will not only be dealing with artefacts, but also things like houses, graves, rune stones and agriculture, as well as a CD-R about Vikings in general.

We would be happy to hear of any ideas for future issues about Viking history.
